BROMIC 40 YEAR CHARITY EVENT
Bromic Group proudly celebrated 40 years in business with a charity drive supporting three amazing charities chosen by staff.
November to Remember 2018 was kick started by a $30,000 donation from the Bromic Group and supported by staff, suppliers, customers, family and friends we have collectively raised over $46,500!
We would like to thank all donors for supporting the charities. An extra thank you to all the staff for getting involved in the events across the month with dress up days and Gavin’s walk to work. Please take a look at some of the events below.
Beyond Blue
beyondblue works to reduce the impact of anxiety, depression and suicide by supporting people to protect their mental health and to recover when they are unwell.
Dare the directors shave
At the start of the event Bromic Group directors Scott Smith and Michael Glezerson volunteered to lose some hair for the cause! Scott to wax his legs and Michael to shave his head. It certainly helped raise the incentive for the staff to get behind the cause. December 5th was “H” day and they both bravely delivered on their promise.
Walk to Work – 30th November 2018
Closing out the month of November to Remember was sales executive Gavin Kotkin’s personal challenge of walking to work – 40km for forty years.
The Bromic team got behind his initiative, with volunteer walkers joining him for the 43km journey from The Kids’ Cancer Project office in Randwick to Bromic’s HQ in Ingleburn.
Starting out at about 3am, and arriving at work just after 1pm.
Gavin raised over $4200, being shared evenly between the charities!
Thank you to all those who generously donated in support of the charities and Gavin’s trek.
Across the month Bromic staff also had a special day for each charity:
To raise awareness for beyondblue we had everyone dress up in blue and donate a gold coin or two. We also had a guessing competition on who is Mr Blue Man .
